Redesigning Teaching

Studio 360, a weekly NPR show about pop culture, creativity and the arts, has an ongoing, periodic series of redesigning some aspect of our contemporary culture, most recently addressing teachers / teaching. The firm they hired to draft the redesign proposal (Hyperakt) focused on potential advertising for the profession more so than the image of teachers. Here's the link to the show. Below are some of the images of their ideas, the main motif being the connecting of dots. Their full presentation (pdf here) includes a glimpse of their design process, including an alternate direction rejected in favor of the connect the dots theme.
